About the Program

LBAN’s Business Scaling program is a 9-week hybrid program. Participants will spend two weekends at the Stanford Graduate School of Business with Stanford faculty, engaged in lectures, workshops, networking, and opportunities to redefine their growth mindset. In addition to the in-person time at Stanford, the program includes 8 weeks of the online curriculum with a weekly live webinar every Wednesday.

The program is designed so that business leaders can continue running their business back at their office/home location while participating in this Stanford program with other Latino business leaders around the country. Upon completion, the participant will receive a certificate from Stanford Executive Education.

Join a powerful network of Latino entrepreneurs who are committed to growing their businesses. By participating in the program, you will develop a growth mindset, inspiring you to look at your company differently. Through the program, you will have an experienced mentor to challenge you, support you, and help you apply the curriculum to your business. You will be immersed in a network of Latino business leaders from across the country, who are all eager to guide their company to the next level. In addition, you will learn about funding and capital options, financial management, and have various exercises to prepare you for conversations that you will have with capital providers. This online program requires two weekends at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Requirements

Latino business owners that have generated $1M+ in revenue or have raised $1.5M+ from external investments (Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors, or Bank Loans). Non-profits must have a budget of $1M+.
Business must be headquartered in the U.S.
Latino business owners who have a clear vision and are invested in their community.

Cost

Each seat in the program is valued at over $18,000, but due to the generosity of our sponsors, we can provide a significant scholarship to all admitted participants.

The scholarship amount is based on a tiered system according to the applicant company's revenue in the previous year:
- For entrepreneurs under $2M, the net tuition cost to the participant is only $2,500.
- For entrepreneurs between $2M-$7.9M, the net tuition cost to the participant is only $3,000.
- For entrepreneurs at $8M+, the net tuition cost to the participant is only $3,500.

Time

The Business Scaling Program is a hybrid 9-week program.
Mostly online, but does require two weekends at Stanford Graduate School of Business (for opening and closing weekends).
About 8-10 hours per week.
Includes a weekly 2-hour webinar every Wednesday and a 1-hour weekly call with a mentor.
