Cázares’ family immigrated to California when he was a young child. His parents only had access to a few years of rudimentary grade school in rural Mexico. Like many others, they went to America to build a better life. As a boy, Cázares worked alongside his father in the Central Valley of California fields, where he was raised. Stanford University transformed all of that for Cázares. He has an Electrical Engineering degree from Stanford and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Cázares also serves as the Chairman of Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI). This Bay Area health services organization operates medical clinics for those in need and advocates for the wellbeing and dignity of all in the community.
